About the Banning Club of Anthropol Women
Since 1968, the Banning Club of Anthropol Women has brought women together in service to the Banning, California, community. Founded by local community members, including Theodrice McDonald and Sadie Green, the Club was established with a commitment to charitable work, educational opportunity, and the well-being of women and families.
The Club’s early efforts focused on helping students from low-income households and supporting the education and welfare of women. Those priorities continue to guide its interest in local youth, education, and projects that strengthen the community.
At the heart of the Club is a belief that people can make a meaningful difference when they work together. Through philanthropy and community involvement, the Banning Club of Anthropol Women seeks to honor the vision of its founders while responding to the needs of the community it calls home.
More than five decades after its founding, the Club remains connected to the purpose that brought its members together: serving others and helping create opportunities for future generations in Banning.
